About James B-More Wharton
A historical overview and flashback in time about the author given by the author.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born November 9, 1963, I was raised in the inner city of Baltimore in a housing development called Murphy Homes. After years of mishaps and struggles, I decided to move to Georgia in January of 1997. Three years later, I found myself in a clergy robe at a prominent church, where I would go on to receive my formal training, and lead several ministries. For instance, I received chaplain training through the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police—assisted the church with organizing a prison ministry—and held the position as a leader instructor in New Members Orientation, where I taught on salvation: the most important topic and foundation of the church.
MEMORY LANE
In times past, I remember men could look one another in the face, give each other their word, shake hands, and the deal was sealed. Point in case—when times were tough for my family, my dad would go to the local grocer and give him his word that, if he gave him food to feed his family, he would pay him when he got paid; and he keep his word. You see, a man’s word during those days was like signing a legal contract. Unfortunately, getting the truth in society today is like trying to grab some air and bottle it. As a matter of fact, getting the truth from some of society’s major institutions can be difficult and challenging at times: government, churches, and marriage, just to name a few.
AUTHOR’S GOAL
Many topics discussed today seems to have a way of captivating attention on a national level, and sometimes globally. The opinions expressed seems to be as varied as the number of people on earth; and that’s okay. However, this site is devoted to the unveiling of “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.” It is my intent to unveil the truth even at the expense of exposing my own character flaws and defects. Nothing will be held back—and no one will be spared—not even me.
